Yakima River
The Yakima River is Washington’s only Blue Ribbon river. With over 80 miles of fantastic trout fishing and gorgeous views along the way, the Yakima is something special. Located only 2 hours from Seattle and an hour from Wenatchee, this makes for a great central location.
The river flows from Snoqualmie Pass down to the Columbia. If its trout you are chasing in the upper section or smallmouth in the lower river, the Yakima has something for everyone. Fishing is open and good year-round on the Yakima, which makes it one of Wenatchee Fly Company’s favorite rivers. We offer both float and walk-and-wade trips throughout the year on the Yakima. Come check it out for yourself.

Rocky Ford Creek
Rocky Ford Creek is a quick drive from Wenatchee, located near the town of Ephrata. If sight fishing for extremely large trout gets you excited, then Rocky Ford is the spot for you. Rocky Ford is a spring creek that provides crystal clear water and unique opportunities to sightfish.
Fish over 10 lbs are not uncommon but require a stealthy presentation. Mike at Wenatchee Fly Co. has developed a special knack for chasing these monsters. The best time of year for Rocky Ford is November through March.
Our walk-and-wade trips at Rocky Ford run for approximately 6 hours and include lunch, waders, rods, flies, and tackle.

Stillwater
In Central Washington, we are lucky enough to have a ton of lakes to fish. These lakes offer a unique opportunity to target a variety of species such as trout, walleye, musky, bass, and pan fish. Wenatchee Fly Co. offers guided trips on these lakes to target all of these fantastic game fish. We offer both float and walk-and-wade trips for our stillwater trips. Our 16ft bass boat is a fantastic way to sneak up on carp or cast poppers to bass. Give us a call or email and we can help customize a perfect day on the water for you.

Methow River
The Methow River is located 2 hours north of Wenatchee in Okanogan County. From its deep pools to its shallow riffles the Methow offers various river terrains with fantastic views throughout. Some of the largest and most powerful trout reside in the Methow, so it is one of our favorite rivers to guide. Fishing is best on the Methow from mid-June through the end of September.

Mountain Creeks
Central Washington has an abundance of high mountain creeks. During the months of July-October these little bodies of water come alive. Many of these small tributaries offer fantastic dry fly fishing for small beautiful trout. This is a great way to escape the heat during the summer months and explore some gorgeous little streams. We offer walk-and-wade trips for up to 3 anglers.
